It is with the objective of offering quality medicines that respect the strictest European standards, that Biogaran began the deployment of its activities in the Near and Middle East in 2017 with the launch of its commercial activities in Lebanon. In order to meet public health challenges and to provide quality medicines adapted to the needs of patients, Biogaran wishes to continue to develop its activities in the region, particularly in Iraq, where Biogaran will launch its activities at the end of 2021/beginning of 2022.

The medicines that Biogaran will provide to Iraqi patients will come from several distinct therapeutic areas in order to cover a number of common pathologies in the country and to respond to local health issues.

In order to ensure optimal treatment intake and compliance, the packaging of Biogaran medicines will be adapted to the local language and to the needs of patients.
